Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.

I wanted to make a simmilar drawing with my characters during the battle on the graveyard of Gareth against the evil Black Dragon.
Nova holds the holy staff of Boron instead of a flag and she looks forwards, not backwards. Right into the future.
As you can see, we are on the winner's side: Some dead or injured soliders of the Dragon's army are on the ground. The guy beneath Zayl has been burned (
It must have been Gideon! 
), I hope you can see that. 
Gideon's staff is not burning. This is a magic feature you can do in our RPG with your mage's stuff. Nova and Endariel can do that, too. And as you can see Zayl (who has no mage's stuff, but a magic dagger) has set his dagger of fire, too. But his flame is green.
In the background you can see the houses of Gareth. The fog... well, I am not satisfied with it, but it is ok.
The colours are quite different from the original piece. It is more light in them and so it is more LIFE in the picture.

You know what ? I have been dreaming for MONTHS to make a parody of that pic, with Oblivion based characters (Martin, Lucien...ect). Great minds alike !
