I finished the book a few weeks ago and this particular scene stuck with me until I drew it. It is a dream, that the protagonist - Florence - has at night. She dreams that she is balancing on a spider silk, her task being picking up cocoons, while darked winged butterflies surround her. She then realises, that she also has dark wings on her back.
I am not sure why this special scene stuck with me, maybe it was, because it transferred such an interesting feeling and atmosphere with it.... or maybe because in this scene I could imagine Florence best. :] Either way, here is that picture and I think it is quite alright. Of course, drawing without outlines is still a pain for me and it shows, but I needed to get that feeling of blurred body and dress that reaches out into the darkness. Outlines would have destroyed that.
