Yay! Nehema is going to be a City Watch officer for one day. 
And praise Karras and the Builder, that she will be Hagen's partner and not Lovel's. 
Otherwise she would not learn about a policeman's work, but about how to stalk Creepy (the Sheriff) or how to have fun with bondage, what is nothing a chaste Mechanist girl should deal with.
